Jim Carrey is freakin’ hilarious. He cracks me up, for real. Did you ever see Fun with Dick and Jane? It’s incredible. And he is proof of something I’ve been saying for a long time:  you have to be smart to be really funny. It takes a certain level of intelligence to observe, interpret, analyze, and satirize people and situations in a compelling way. He’s funny and smart. He does his homework. And after becoming involved with Jenny McCarthy and her son’s battle with autism, the brother knows his stuff. In a recent entry on the Huffington Post, he calls into question a recent conclusion drawn from a court ruling. After three cases of autism were determined not to have been caused by the MMR vaccine, a sweeping proclamation of vaccine safety was made in a CNN commentary.
