Early Monday morning a deadly earthquake devastated Italy.  It was rated a 6.3 on the Richter Scale, and centered at L’Aquila which is 70 miles from Rome.  There were 150 people killed, another 1500+ wounded, and tens of thousands left homeless.  Among those who were killed and wounded were students from the University of L'Aquila, where a half-dozen or so were believed to be trapped inside of a Dorm.  Buildings were destroyed such as businesses, colleges, and even old structures like castles and archways that date back to the medieval times, which shows that no earthquake had made such an impact since those structures were built.
